Class Descriptions

 

Gentle

This class is for complete beginners and anyone who appreciates a slow, restorative class. If you feel tired, stiff, or stressed, this is a good place to start.  Our goal is to cultivate ease in the body and breath, in order to calm the mind. The class includes:

Breathing Exercises
Beginner Yoga Postures
Joint Mobility Movements
Deep Relaxation

Seated Meditation

We provide yoga mats and props.  Please bring a small towel or blanket if you would like extra padding for your knees or head. Toilets also available on-site.

Monday evenings 6-6:45pm (except on bank holidays), Wednesday evenings 7-7:45pm and Friday mornings 11-11:45am.

Yoga Classes in Killarney

Flow

The Flow class is for beginners who want to be challenged by fluid transitions and movements through a series of poses and anyone who wishes to improve their balance, mobility and strength.  Our goal is to cultivate ease in the body and breath, in order to calm the mind.  The class includes:

Breathing Exercises
 Beginner-Intermediate Yoga Postures
Joint Mobility and Strength Movements
Deep Relaxation
Seated Meditation

Chair

Our chair class is for people with limited mobility who may find it difficult to get up and down from the floor. It is also suitable for people who are uncomfortable with pressure on their wrists or knees.  The entire class is practiced from a chair, with an optional 1-2 poses practiced standing.  Our goal, as with all of our classes, is to cultivate ease in the body and breath, in order to calm the mind. This class includes:

Breathing Exercises
Modified Beginner Yoga Postures
Joint Mobility Movements
Seated Relaxation
Seated Meditation

Toilets available on-site.

Fridays midday 12-12:30pm.
